The SPR 500 AE chainsaw from Stiga is joining their growing range of cordless garden tools. The 500 Series tools all use the same 2, 4 or 5Ah 38v batteries. These batteries are Stiga’s next gen design with zero emissions, low maintenance and high performance cells, delivering longer running times. The SPR 500 AE is a top handle chainsaw designed for more experienced users in tree pruning and wood carving. Top handle chainsaws are only recommended for those who have previous experience and preferably a chainsaw certificate. With a 1000w brushless motor powered by the 4 or 5Ah battery. It is recommended by Stiga to use their 500 Series 4Ah battery with this chainsaw for the best performance possible. Stiga estimate the running time when using the 4Ah battery is approximately 80 cuts of 16.5cm branches before recharging. This chainsaw is fitted with a 12″ (30cm) guide bar and chain.
