We have various types of hedge cutters available on our website. Various types include cordless hedge trimmers, electric hedge trimmers, hedge trimmers attachments and petrol hedge cutters.
Cordless Hedge Trimmers
Cordless hedge trimmers are becoming very popular due to being lightweight and no power cord to contend with. They are also very quiet to operate and not petrol is needed. However, the downside of these is that the battery power is limited between charges and replacement batteries can be expensive. I have to say that battery technology has come a long way in the past few years.
Electric Hedge Trimmers
Electric hedge trimmers are a simple and a cheap way to trim your hedge. Prices start at around the £40 mark, however, to me, the biggest downside of electric tools is having to cope with the trailing cable.
Petrol Hedge Trimmers
Petrol hedge trimmers are my preferred type of hedge cutter. Due to the fact that they are generally more powerful, there is no trailing power cable and no batteries to charge!
The downside is that petrol hedge trimmers are heavier than electric models, however, if you purchase a decent machine you should have many years of trouble-free hedge cutting.
Long Reach Hedge Cutters
Long reach hedge cutters are extremely useful for those tall hedges and very wide hedges. Some long reach hedge cutters have the option to fit other accessories like a pruning saw, blower, cultivator and more.
