The Stiga Twinclip 55 S-R H BBC is a premium machine featuring ‘twin clip’ cutting technology, blade brake clutch, steel rear roller, Honda GXV engine and hybrid aluminium / steel deck.The Twinclip mowers use a blade which improves grass cutting and collecting by 20% compared to a standard rotary blade. It is double layered with 4 cutting faces. Propulsion comes from the Pro Alu transmission offering a variable speed drive. The deck has been constructed with aluminium / steel ensuring strength and durability. Cutting heights are simply adjusted with a single lever located on the wheel. 8 adjustments are available from 13 – 65mm so you can set according to the mowing conditions. The addition of a BBC (Blade Brake Clutch) is particularly handy when needing to empty the grass collector or transport the mower across paths. The BBC works by stopping the blades turning whilst the engine is still running and minimising downtime. The Honda engine is reliable and economical delivering 2.87kW (163cc) of power.
