Mulching whilst mowing cuts the grass trimmings into very tiny pieces which are virtually impossible to see. These tiny trimmings are thrown back onto the ground where as they decompose the soil and grass roots are provided with nutrients and essential moisture.When you use a lawn mower for mulching grass always start on the highest available cutting point and work your way down. Use the 3rd cut rule and only cut a 3rd of the grass height at a time. This will ensure the best cut and finish to the mowing area and reduces the strain on the engine and cutting blade. The Cobra MM51B gives you the choice of 5 cutting height adjustments from 30mm right up to 75mm for the longest grass.
