The Solo by AL-KO R13-72.5 HD is a high spec, lawn rider with a powerful Briggs & Stratton engine. With a cutting width of just 72 cm (28 inch) the Solo R13-72.5HD compact ride on is ideal for medium to large lawns where restricted access can prove a problem.The hydrostatic transmission works like an automatic car, push the pedal to go forward and ease off to slow down and stop.The easy step through design enables a user to mount or dismount the mower with the minimum of trouble. A comfortable high backed driving seat provides lumbar support & an increased level of comfort.The Alko R13-72.5 HD has a 3INONE function with the option of collection, rear discharge or mulch. The 180 litre grass box can be emptied from the driving seat with a telescopic lever. In long grass areas or places where a finer finish isn’t needed the rear discharge function allows the grass cuttings to fall neatly behind the mower where they will die back naturally. Switching to mulching cuts the grass into fine pieces which are blown back onto the ground where they are re-absorbed giving additional moisture & nutrients to the soil.The Briggs & Stratton Powerbuilt 3130 AVS Series™ engine is extremely powerful with an electric key start fitted. The engine uses Over Head Valve technology which helps the tractor to run cooler & cleaner, whilst delivering improved power, performance and fuel economy. The Anti-Vibration System reduces the engine vibration and gives a smoother operation.This AL-KO Solo ride on lawn mower has a space / service position where it can be sat on its end. This position gives access to clean / inspect the underside of the tractor or to store it away.
