This telescopic tree pruner from the Spear and Jackson Razorsharp range is over 2.3 metres long at full extension, but is also lightweight and comfortable to hold thanks to its fibreglass shaft. Fibreglass provides excellent strength and rigidity for long term durability, while being lightweight and also corrosion-free. The tool has a bypass lopper style blade which is activated via a pull cord, and this enables branches up to 30mm in diameter to be sliced through in a single action, enabling many pruning jobs to be completed quickly and easily with minimal effort. For larger branches, it is supplied complete with a curved pruning saw attachment which can be mounted or dismounted using a simple wingnut fastening system.
