Description
Stiga front deck sit on lawn mowers have articulated steering so the rear wheels follow in the exact path of the front ones. This is a vital feature if you are cutting around paths, flower borders and other garden obstacles. The Stiga Park 420 2 wheel drive ride on mower has hydrostatic transmission so drives very like an automatic car. The accelerator is depressed to drive the machine forward and you just ease off it to slow back down. The Park 420 has a maximum driving speed of 10 km/h.The Stiga Park 420 is powered by a Briggs & Stratton single cylinder Powerbuilt engine which produces a power output of 7.4kW. A choice of manual & electric cutter decks are available to fit this model in cutting widths 95 cm, 100 cm and 105 cm. The cutting heights can be set from 25 – 85 mm.The Stiga Multiclip cutting decks let the user pick the option of either discharging the grass cuttings to the rear of the tractor as you cut, or mulching the grass into very fine pieces which are then dispersed back down on to the ground to be reabsorbed for additional lawn nutrients. As the mulched grass is very small it can barely be seen on the lawn afterwards. Always use the ‘one third’ rule though when mulching grass. Just cut down a third of the grass length at a time to get the best cut and avoid damaging the grass or the machine. Please Note: Price is for the mower unit only without a cutter deck. Please choose the deck size before ordering.SpecificationsEngine : Briggs and Stratton Powerbuilt 3130Engine Output: 7.4kwCylinders : Single CylinderTransmission : HydrostaticDrive : 2 Wheel DriveArticulated Steering : YesSteering Link : Chain / ChainDeck Lift : Manual – foot operatedDeck Sizes: 95cm or 100cm and 105cm electricCutting Deck Heights : 25-85mm (10 Positions)Wheels : Front – 16″, Rear – 16″Adjustable Operator Seat : YesOverall Length : approx 196cmOverall Width : approx 86.4cmWeight : 186kgWarranty : 3 Years Domestic Machine Warranty – 10 Years Chassis
