Stiga SMT24AE 24v Cordless Long Reach Hedge trimmer & Pole Pruner is a handy addition to the Stiga 24v battery powered range. The SMT24AE comes supplied with a battery and charger. The Stiga 24v batteries can be interchanged with any of the 5 tools in the gardening range. The SHT 24AE will have a run time of 85 minutes on a single charge, dependant on the cutting conditions.The Stiga SMT24AE is a battery powered multi-tool with a long reach hedge trimmer and pole pruner attachment. The tool is half the weight of a petrol version, which makes it more comfortable to use over longer periods. The cordless SMT24AE extends to 70cm and has a practical 3 piece split shaft offering varying working heights. When using the hedge trimmer, the attachment has a 460cm double sided cutting blade which is competently trims hedge sides and tops. The chainsaw pruner head is fitted with a 20cm chain, perfect for trimming awkward and odd angled branches. There is a handy automatic oiling function, which releases the optimum amount of lubricant to the chain whilst it is in use.The approximate run time of the hedge cutter is up to 85 minutes and the pruner 18 minutes depending on the cutting conditions.
