The Stihl FSA 65 cordless brushcutter is powered by Stihl’s PRO lithium battery range. The FSA 65 is an ideal choice when working in noise sensitive areas, such as hosptials, schools and urban areas. As well as being quiet and cable-free, cordless tools offer minimal running costs and zero emissions. Stihl’s powerful lithium-ion batteries are built with high quality cells. The batteries are designed to hold charge for longer and continually recharge to their maximum capacity. Stihl recommend their AP 100 battery (sold separately) and it will power the brushcutter for 30 minutes on a single charge. To increase battery life and ensure the tool stays disconnected until you need it, Stihl have engineered a two stage system to connect the battery; the 1st stage sits the battery in position so it can be safely transported, the 2nd stage connects the battery ready for use.The FSA 65 has reliable brushless motor, these motors run smoothly and efficiently and they also have a much longer product life than brushed versions. The motor is low vibration, this twinned with the soft-grip loop handle ensures maximum user comfort when working. The loop handle is the best choice for working in narrow spaces and trimming around objects. Stihl’s AutoCut C 4-2 mowing head uses a durable nylon line, extra line is released when the head is bumped on the ground.
