The high-rise blades are flow-optimised which helps to conserve battery power by cutting with minimal resistance. There are a range of batteries and chargers available to buy separately, though Stihl recommend the AP 200 battery for powering the RMA 443 C. Stihl have engineered their cordless lawn mowers with an inventive Eco mode.
