The Fieder electric wheelbarrow is a great idea if your garden is on a slope. If you’re getting older and finding it more effort to move wheelbarrow around your garden. Or of course, if you just want to make life easier for yourself!

Fieder battery-powered electric wheelbarrow
As you know, I’m always looking for ways to make life easier in the garden. A powered wheelbarrow sounds like a great idea to me. I must admit I prefer the idea of a petrol or diesel driven barrow. However, on a traditional wheelbarrow, this would not be possible.
Fieder has almost kept their wheelbarrow identical to the traditional garden wheelbarrow. The only difference is that it has two caster wheels that help to take the weight of the barrow and add to the manoeuvrability.
I have used larger electric wheelbarrows which can be very useful in the garden, however, this type of electric barrow can be expensive. The Fieder battery-powered electric wheelbarrow offers excellent value for money something that will make life in the garden considerably easier.

Variable speed
The Fieder battery-powered electric wheelbarrow offers variable speed transmission. The electric wheelbarrow has adjustable speed up to 7 km/h. This means that you can move at a pace that is comfortable for you and suitable for various ground conditions.
With a large 410 mm pneumatic front wheel, the Fieder electric barrow copes with all different types of terrain. The rear caster wheels help to manoeuvre barrow and take the weight of the operator.
Five Hours Of Battery Life
The Fieder battery-powered electric wheelbarrow is supplied with a high-tech 40v/10Ah lithium-ion battery. The battery runtime is up to 5 hours working on level ground. I believe that this is more than enough for the average gardener on a normal days work.
Fieder claims that their batteries will retain their charge when the wheelbarrow is not in use. There is nothing worse than going to a machine and finding out that the machine is discharged or there is no petrol!
The powerful DC electric motor enables the wheelbarrow to climb its way up inclines up to 25°, which is pretty good.
To Conclude
As I mentioned earlier in this post, I like the idea of making life easy in the garden. The Fieder battery-powered electric wheelbarrow offers a great solution to making life easier in the garden at a sensible price.
Looking at the reviews it appears that the instructions are not brilliant for assembling electric barrow. Fieder offer an option for £100 to have the wheelbarrow delivered fully assembled. This is definitely something that I would think about as so often assembly instructions are not clear, especially if they’re written in a different language.
Something that I have noticed is that the caster wheels are not particularly large. I believe that in wet and muddy conditions these caster wheels could very quickly become clogged with mud. My option would be to use the wheelbarrow in the traditional way and take the weight on the handles in wet conditions. For eight or nine months of the year, the wheelbarrow could probably be used with the caster wheels. To be fair, if it’s too wet in your garden you probably wouldn’t be actually working in the garden.
Would I buy the Fieder battery-powered electric wheelbarrow? Yes, I would! I have had the experience of working in gardens with slopes, this would definitely be a way of making life easier in the garden.
