The Mountfield 2243H-SD has a 108cm cutting width, plenty of premium features and user-friendly hydrostatic drive transmission. Fitted with a premium Briggs and Stratton Intek engine which reliable 656cc v-twin design delivers superior performance and consistent power whilst powering the tractor over varying terrain. The side discharge tractors are a practical choice for areas such as meadows, orchards as well as large gardens. The grass cuttings are neatly deposited in lines to the side of the tractor and left to decompose naturally. The 2243H-SD is designed for demanding use with a 108cm reinforced cutting deck and a cast iron front axle. The garden tractor uses 2 untimed cutter blades, premium pulleys and a Kevlar reinforced belt. There are 3 anti-scalp wheels to protect the grass by helping the deck ‘float’ down dips and up slopes without contact to the ground. The blades are optimised for side discharge grass cutting and leave a quality cut to grass in varying conditions. The cutting heights are easily adjusted and offer 7 settings ranging from 30 – 90mm.
