The Hyundai 76cc 4-Stroke Backpack Petrol Leaf Blower
If you’re looking for a blower with plenty of power, the Hyundai 76cc 4-Stroke Backpack Petrol Blower is worth looking at. With up to 192 mph of blowing power, it should have the power to move leaves and debris quickly.
We often think of blowers just for autumn use, but I find that I use my blower all year round. It’s my most used garden tool, which literally saves me hours of handwork every year!
I wouldn’t particularly recommend the backpack leaf blower for commercial use, but for keen gardeners, it’s a good option. However, the leaf blower still has one year’s warranty, even for commercial use, so the manufacturers obviously trust their product.

Four Stroke Petrol Engine
Most leaf blowers are powered by a 2-stroke engine. However, in this case, the blower is powered by a four-stroke engine.
The Hyundai Backpack Petrol Leaf Blower is powered by a 76cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke petrol engine. Which develops 2.2 kW, which equates to almost 3 hp. Starting the engine is by traditional recoil start. The engine has Euro five certification, which helps to lower fuel consumption and minimise emissions. The engine takes straight, unleaded petrol, there is no two-stroke mixing required.
Backpack Blower
One of the many things that I like about a petrol backpack blower is the fact that the machine is very easy to carry for long periods. Another feature is that the petrol blower can be used anywhere without trailing cables or batteries running out!
The backpack blower weighs 12.3 kg which is slightly on the heavy side in my experience. I use a Stihl BR600 backpack blower which weighs 10.3 kg. However, their larger BR800 backpack blower ways 11.7 kg. So, the Hyundai Backpack Petrol Leaf Blower is heavier than the commercial Stihl blowers.
The Hyundai Backpack Petrol Leaf Blower is comfortable to use with anti-vibration technology. The leaf blower has dampers on the engine mountings and through the backpack harness. Some of the cheaper models do not have antivibration technology, fortunately, this model does! I wouldn’t recommend using a machine without antivibration technology.
The petrol backpack blower has easy-to-reach fingertip controls, making it effortless to use.
All Year-Round Use
As I mentioned earlier in this post, my leaf bar is the most used tool in the garden. There are many uses for a leaf blower, the primary use being to blow leaves.
However, leaf blowers are a great tool for clearing up after carrying out certain tasks in the garden. For example, they can clear snow, gutters, patios, general garden debris and much more! I will often use my blower to clean machinery down after use, it’s great for removing fresh grass from a lawnmower.
To Conclude
The Hyundai 76cc 4-Stroke Backpack Petrol Leaf Blower offers excellent value for money for the power of the blower. It comes with a peace of mind three-year warranty for domestic use and one year warranty for commercial use. Personally, I would not buy it for commercial use, despite the warranty. The other slight downside is that it slightly heavier than what I would expect. However, being a backpack blower makes it easy to use.
