Today we are looking at the Mountfield 1530M Lawn Tractor, a compact machine with a twin bladed cutting deck. This model is on offer for £1899 offering a saving of £200. Yesterday we looked at the Mountfield 1530H Lawn Tractor, which is an identical tractor apart from the transmission.

First, let’s take a quick look at the brand name. Mountfield has been making garden machinery for almost 50 years. Mountfield first started producing rotary mowers back in 1962 in their Maidenhead factory. I remember the familiar Mountfield Roller rotaries from my childhood and teenage years. These well-made machines were a familiar sight, quite a few of these machines can still be seen working today. I believe that Mountfield has come a long way since these machines were first produced, with many products added to the range.

Mountfield produces two 1530 machines one with hydrostatic transmission and one with manual gearbox transmission. Hence the H and the M after the model number. I would not buy a gearbox machine today if there was a hydrostatic option available. For just £150 approximately more you have a machine that is far more versatile than the traditional old-fashioned gearbox type. I will explain more in this post further down.

The Mountfield 1530M Lawn Tractor is a compact machine which has an 84 cm cutting deck (approximately 33 inches). Apparently, Mountfield is the first company to put a twin bladed cutting deck onto a machine of this size. Traditionally machines with this size deck would have a single cutting blade. Mountfield has produced some great features on this machine and has been able to keep the cost down to below £2000.

Engine

Mountfield uses their own engine to power the Mountfield 1530M Lawn Tractor. It’s an 11 hp 452cc engine with overhead valve technology. The engine also has a cast-iron liner which prolongs engine life. As with all engines, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for servicing and routine maintenance.

Cutting Deck

The dual or twin blades are slightly offset, enabling the blades to overlap and not touch each other. The twin blades offer a more efficient cutting action and a much more efficient collection system over traditional machines.

The cutter deck has electronic engagement, simply click the switch and the cutting deck will engage. Take care when engaging the cutter deck, most cutting decks can be engaged on tick over. It is a good practice to engage the electric cutting deck clutch on tick over as this puts much less strain to the clutch and the belts. I see far too many people running their engine flat out and then engaging the clutch, something that you wouldn’t do on a car!

With seven different heights varying from 25 mm to 80 mm, there’s a height to suit everyone’s needs. I like the idea of having an option for a high cut for those occasions when your lawn has grown slightly out of control. When the need arises to cut some long grass down it’s always useful to have a high cut to knock the grass down gradually.

Grass Collection

The counterrotating twin blades help greatly with the grass collection, creating a strong airflow. The grass is blown straight out the cutting deck directly into the collector, this is an efficient way to collect the grass. The grass collector can be emptied from the operator’s seat which is a huge plus point. No one wants to keep dismounting from the machine to empty the grass collector.

I always advise people to purchase a lawn tractor with either a brush collection system or a system that blows the grass directly into the box. I would most definitely avoid collection systems with long tubes as the grass will almost certainly become clogged in these areas.

Another type of grass collection system that I would avoid is the type where you have two or three bags on the rear of the machine. These bags require being emptied by physically removing yourself from the machine. This is not only time-consuming, to my mind, but it’s also totally unnecessary and partly defeats the idea of having a ride-on mower.

It’s so simple when you have a collector that can be emptied from the operator seat. Mowing will be continuous, simply drive up to your compost heap, pull the lever and the grass is dumped, and then carry on mowing! The great thing is that the Mountfield 1530M Lawn Tractor has an alarm sounds when your collection box is full. In this way, you can maximise the capacity of your grass collector.

Common-Sense Design

The Mountfield 1530M Lawn Tractor is a well-designed machine with controls placed sensibly. It is also designed so that you can easily get on and off the lawn tractor. I know many machines that you have some the obstacles in the way when you are dismounting or mounting a machine.

Accessories

There is a separate deflector kit that enables you to tackle longer grass. The deflected kit disables the collection system which then gives you more power to cope with long grass.

Mountfield also offers a mulching plug, however, just remember that mulching takes quite a bit of power. I am actually in great favour of mulching, however, sometimes if you actually want to mulch your grass you’re actually better to look for a specialist mulching mower. Although, the mulching plug is definitely worth a try, especially if you cut your grass regularly.

Other options include a tow bar that can be used to pull accessories like trailers and other towable garden tools.

To Conclude

Today we have been looking at the Mountfield 1530M Lawn Tractor. Although it’s a nice compact machine, I would go for the hydrostatic Mountfield 1530H Lawn Tractor. There is only £150 price difference between the two machines. The benefits that a hydrostatic machine gives are unbelievable compared to the manual machine.

Another great plus point with these two Mountfield machines is the fact that they have a five-year peace of mind warranty. To me, this suggests that the manufacturer really trusts their machine.

Mountfield has brought a new concept to the design of the Mountfield 1530H Lawn Tractor. The Mountfield 1530H ride-on tractor has a compact 84 cm (33 inch) cutting width. Traditionally on a machine of this size, the cutting deck would have just one blade. However, Mountfield has added twin blades that overlap and counter-rotate that help to give that perfect finish to your lawn. Mountfield has also achieved to make a machine with great performance and great collection ability. Efficient grass collection is of great importance on any mowing machine.

Hydrostatic Drive

The majority of ride-on machines come with a hydrostatic drive today. Traditionally, the early ride on tractors came with a gearbox and clutch control. The gearbox on a ride on mower is not always the smoothest and quickest to engage. Thankfully, hydrostatic drives have made ride-on mowers much more practical and manoeuvrable.

Hydrostatic drive brings total freedom to mowing and ease of use. Personally, although there are a few machines available without hydrostatic drive I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a gearbox machine, even though they are cheaper in price.

A hydrostatic drive is basically a drive that offers variable speed in forward and reverse, by using either a foot pedal or lever. There is no clutch to depress or gearbox, simply an oil-driven motor and an oil pump to drive the motor. Hydrostatic drive really does make mowing so much more enjoyable and so much easier. For example, if you are mowing your grass and you come to a thick area of grass, you simply slow down, without having to change gear! It’s similar to driving an automatic car, no gear changing!

Engine

The lawn tractor is powered by a Mountfield 7750 452cc engine, which develops 11.2 hp (8.4 kW). This particular design of engine has been developed over the past 10 years, so it comes with expert design and lots of research. Bearings are used on all the spinning parts of the engine. There is an oil pump within the engine that ensures the engine is lubricated continually, even when being used on gentle slopes. The piston moves in a cast-iron liner which ensures engine longevity.

With a 6 L fuel tank ensure long sessions without the need to refuel.

Cutting System And Collection

The overlapping twin blade action on the cutting deck cuts beyond the width of the machine. The deck is designed so as the blades overlap each other, so there are no streaks in the cutting action. There is also blades protection should any obstacles encounter the blades.

Due to the airflow created by the twin blades and the design of the cutting deck enables excellent collection in wet or dry conditions. The grass is directed straight back into the collector, no angled tubes where grass can so easily become entangled and blocked.

The machine has an excellent capacity grass bag, 240 L to be precise, this is excellent for a machine of this size. The less time you spend emptying the collector, the quicker you finish the job! The collector can be operated from the driver’s seat. I see some machines that have two or three collection bags on the rear of the machine. I would avoid these machines at all costs. Who wants to dismount from a machine to empty the grass bags, when you can empty from the operator seat!?

The cutting deck has seven different cutting heights, ranging from 25 mm to 80 mm. This enables you to have a nice clean cut for that perfect room lawn look. However, if your grass is slightly out of hand there is a high setting available to take control of your lawn again.

Electric clutch

The lawn tractors cutting deck is engaged by an electronic clutch, no levers to push or pull, just a flick of a switch. Take care when engaging the clutch, keep the engine revs low to minimise strain on the clutch and belts.

The Mountfield 1530H Lawn Tractor has a useful hose attachment that enables you to wash your cutting deck. There are two ports on each side of the cutting deck.

An optional deflector kit is available for the Mountfield 1530H Lawn Tractor, which enables you to tackle longer grass. There is also a mulching plug available and a tow bar for attachments.

Well-Designed

Although I always tend to look at the practicalities and functionality of a lawn tractor rather than looks. Mountfield has certainly made their lawn tractor look the part. The controls are sensibly placed and the tractor is easy to get on and off the machine.

The wheels are heavy-duty with pneumatic tyres for excellent traction and stability in awkward terrain. If you feel inclined to work in the dark the Mountfield lawn tractor is even equipped with headlights. Personally, I would prefer to cut my lawn in the daylight hours!

To Conclude

The Mountfield 1530H Lawn Tractor is a practical lawn tractor for the garden which has been well thought out. One of the most important things for me is the efficiency of the collector. It appears that Mountfield has made a good job of producing an efficient collector.

It is good to purchase a machine that is from a well-known brand, Mountfield has been a popular brand for almost 50 years. With a five-year peace of mind warranty, the 1530H is definitely worth looking at. When I’m purchasing a machine, I like the idea of a long warranty for minimum future costs. To me, when I see a five-year warranty it means that the manufacturer trusts their machine.

Another good point is to purchase a machine with hydrostatic drive. There is a gearbox model available, however, I would definitely go for the hydrostatic drive machine. To me, it is well worth the extra money, in more ways than one!

And the Feider FRE7050 Battery-Powered Electric Ride-On Mower, which is something totally new in the ride on mowing world.

The Feider FRT-75BS125 Ride-On Lawnmower offers a cheap solution for customers wanting a small compact machine for their garden. This Feider ride-on lawnmower comes with a Briggs & Stratton engine and a two-year standard warranty and a five-year warranty with terms and conditions. I’m guessing with the five-year warranty you would very much have to stick to Feiders terms and conditions.

This is a budget machine that offers great capabilities for the price. There are many times when I recommend people purchase a good quality walk-behind machine. However, potentially the Feider mower can make your walk behind mower redundant!

Just be aware that there are occasions when a walk-behind mower can be more practical if you have obstacles or you require a nice striped finish to your lawn. However, this Feider ride-on lawnmower could potentially save you many hour’s time over the course of a year.

Engine

One of the benefits of the Feider FRT-75BS125 Ride-On Lawnmower is that it has a powerful 12.5 hp Briggs and Stratton engine. I think most people have heard of the famous Briggs & Stratton brand of engines. They are a very popular engine and a very good workhorse, parts are cheap and are readily available.

I have owned many pieces of machinery and equipment that are powered by Briggs & Stratton, over the years I have had minimal issues with Briggs & Stratton engines.

The 12.5 hp Briggs & Stratton 3125 series engine is a premium 340 cc four-stroke engine, with overhead valve technology. Briggs & Stratton have put a great deal of effort into making this a low emission economical petrol engine.

A float feed type carburettor provides excellent performance and ensures good starting reliability. The cast-iron cylinder liner helps to give this engine a longer life. For your interest, I have a machine that is over 35 years old and still has the original Briggs & Stratton engine with a cast-iron liner! It still works fine and is used regularly.

The engine also comes with a cartridge-type air filter that ensures clean air. Just make sure you check your air filter regularly to keep your engine running smoothly and efficiently. Unfortunately, far too often I see engines that are poorly maintained due to simple maintenance checks. If you look after your engine it will look after your wallet!

Cutting deck

With a 75 cm cutting deck, the mower quickly mows your lawn. However, it is also small enough to get through most garden gates, a very useful option when access is limited.

The Feider ride on mower has three different types of mind modes. They start with collection, the machine comes with a 170 L rear collector that can be operated from the driver’s seat.

The second cutting mode is to mulch the grass. This is a great option for summer when the ground is dry as it helps to keep the grass green in dry weather. It also saves you time when you empty the grass collector.

The third mode is to leave the grass on the lawn through the rear discharge chute. This can be sometimes useful if the lawn has become slightly overgrown. The grass can be cut and then collected by the machine a few hours later once it has wilted.

Gearbox

With the six-speed gearbox, the Feider mower can efficiently work in various conditions. It offers five forward speeds and one reverse speed. As I mentioned in previous blog posts many machines are now fitted with hydrostatic transmission which greatly speeds up the cutting process. Unfortunately, Feider does not offer this option yet, but maybe it will come at a later date.

If you are looking for a machine with hydrostatic drive a good option may be the Mountfield 827H Compact Lawn Rider. Once again, this machine offers good value for money.

The machine presently sells for £1299 which is presently a saving of £200 on the normal price. Yesterday we looked at the Feider FRE7050 Battery-Powered Electric Ride-On Mower. The two machines are very similar apart one is petrol and one is battery powered. There are for and against arguments for both machines.

Over the last few years battery machines have become very popular due to the, allegedly, environmental benefits they offer. One thing is for sure, battery power is good for quiet operation, however, there can still be considerable blade noise from a rotary mower. For me, I still prefer something with an internal combustion engine on. So today we will look at the Feider FRT-7550M Ride-On Lawnmower.

The first thing that I notice about the Feider FRT-7550M Ride-On Lawnmower is that it offers great value for money. Some ride-on mowers have the tendency to be rather cumbersome, however, the Feider offers compactness with great manoeuvrability.

I will often advise customers to go for a good quality, walk behind, rear roller, rotary mower if the garden isn’t huge. But having said this the Feider FRT-7550M Ride-On Lawnmower really does offer value for money. The Feider is a similar price to a quality roller rotary lawnmower. It may not give you quite the same finish, but you won’t have to walk which is a benefit to some people.

Engine

I would not expect an engine of this size to be in this type of budget ride on mower, it really does offer excellent value for money. I have owned similar small commercial machines and the engines are a similar size.

Cutting

Feider has certainly created a machine that helps you manage varying grass conditions. The machine has three different cutting modes, the main one being rear collection, mulching and rear discharge. The Feider ride on mower has a 76 cm cutting width which is approximately 30 inches. This machine will fit through most average-sized garden gates.

With six different cutting heights ranging from 20 to 90 mm, the Feider FRT-7550M Ride-On Lawnmower enables you to cut grass in almost any condition. Just a word of warning; I see far too many people trying to shave their lawn, rather than cutting it neatly and evenly. The majority of lawns aren’t particularly even, so when you are shaving a lawn it creates scalping which is very damaging. You’re far better off to cut your lawn higher and more regularly, especially if you want to keep the lawn looking green and healthy.

The mulching feature is a very useful option, there are times when it’s good to pick up the grass clippings and leaves, especially in the autumn. Mulching can be a good option in the summer months as it helps to keep your lawn looking green and healthy. The mulched grass acts rather like a green manure which feeds the lawn and helps to keep it healthy.

Grass collector

One of the most important features on a ride on mower is the fact that you can empty the grass collector from the operator’s seat. Some manufacturers produce ride-on mowers that have two or three bags to empty on the rear of the machine. To me, this is totally unnecessary as it entails removing yourself from the machine every time the collector is full. With the Feider ride on mower, everything can be operated from the driver’s seat!

Gearbox

Powered with a six-speed gearbox, the Feider FRT-7550M Ride-On Lawnmower has five forward and one reverse gear. This is a good range of gears for a machine of this size. However, it appears that Feider does not make a hydrostatic drive machine that offers variable speed. I appreciate that this is a budget mower and there are trying to keep the price low, which is good. The majority of ride-on mowers sold today come with hydrostatic transmission. I personally wouldn’t buy a machine without hydrostatic transmission; a gearbox is so cumbersome compared with the modern hydrostatic transmissions available today.

From this point of view, the Feider FRE7050 Battery-Powered Electric Ride-On Mower may be a good option. The other option that is worth looking at is the Mountfield 827H Compact Lawn Rider. This is a budget ride on mower that has hydrostatic transmission and is available for just £1599.

To Conclude

The Feider FRT-7550M Ride-On Lawnmower offers great value for money. It also has excellent reviews which are very important and gives peace of mind. The only downside of the Feider mower is that it doesn’t offer hydrostatic transmission, maybe this is something that will come out in the future.

This is the most powerful budget Lawnmower that I have come across, 15 hp is a good-sized engine on a machine of this size.

Yesterday we looked at the smaller compact Mountfield 827M Compact Lawn Rider, which is a great machine for gardens with obstacles. There are all sorts of ride-on mowers on the market, in fact, we are actually spoilt for choice. However, this can make choosing a lawnmower more difficult. Mountfield T38H-MC Lawn Tractor

The Mountfield brand has been around for almost 50 years. Mountfield started production back in 1962. I can remember as a child Mountfield and Hayter rotary mowers being extremely popular. In fact, virtually every petrol roller rotary mower was either a Mountfield or a Hayter mower. I still see many of the old, early Mountfield mowers still going strong today. I always think it is good to purchase a brand that is well known and has good parts and service backup.

The Mountfield T38H-MC Lawn Tractor is a 98 cm cut (approximately 3 feet) which comes with hydrostatic transmission, a powerful petrol engine and large collector.

Hydrostatic Drive

The Mountfield lawn tractor has a hydrostatic drive system which gives you instant variable speed forward and reverse, there is no clutch or gearbox to contend with. Most ride-on mowers today are powered by a hydrostatic drive, there are a few gearbox models still available. However, although hydrostatic drive mowers are slightly dearer, they are definitely worth the extra money for the extra flexibility that a hydrostatic drive machine brings.

Traditionally ride-on lawnmowers had a gearbox and clutch, but thankfully with hydrostatic drives, cutting grass has got much easier! The hydrostatic drive consists of a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor. This enables the machine to be able to move at variable speeds in forward and reverse just through using one-foot pedal, there is no clutch or gearbox.

Hydrostatic drive is so much easier than the traditional gearbox, if your grass is long, you can instantly slow down. If it’s short you can speed up instantly, no gear changing! It’s also great for manoeuvring around obstacles, flower borders and trees et cetera.

Engine

Mountfield has its own engines to power most of their machines. The Mountfield T38H-MC Lawn Tractor is powered by a Mountfield 4 stroke overhead valve petrol engine. This is a 432 cc engine that develops 11.2 hp at 2800 rpm. It also comes with electric start so there is absolutely no effort to start this machine. The 6 L fuel tank will allow you to cover lots of grass in one fill-up.

Cutting Deck

Blade engagement is electronic, so you simply just flick a switch and the cutting deck is engaged. Just a word of warning, always engage your cutting deck at low revs as to prolong clutch life. Failure to do so shortens the clutch life. If you think of it like this, you wouldn’t run your car flat-out and then engage the clutch, it’s the same thing!

The seven-position variable cutting height lever gives you cutting heights from 25 mm to 80 mm. Spring-assisted height control makes changing the height straightforward and effortless. I always prefer to cut grass longer rather than shorter, especially in dry weather as this helps to keep the lawn healthy. I see far too many people cutting their lawn far too short which is the perfect way to wreck a good lawn. The 80 mm maximum height of cut is ideal if the lawn has become long, in this way the longer grass can be cut effortlessly.

Grass Collector

The machine features a large grass collector that can be emptied from the driver’s seat. To me, this is a must, I see no point in having a ride on mower where you must leave the seat to empty their collector. Some manufacturers offer a bagging system that has two or three bags on the back to manually empty, in most cases I would say that this is a pointless idea. Mountfield has designed a neat ride on machine where the grass clippings can be emptied from the operator’s seat.

The grass collector has an alarm to warn you when the grass box is full. In this way the alarm avoids any blockages to the machine, I think we’ve all spent unnecessary time unblocking grass collector’s that take up valuable time!

More Features

A heavy-duty bumper is fitted to the Mountfield T38H-MC Lawn Tractor that protects the front from any accidental impact. Another very useful feature is the deck washout port that helps to keep the cutting deck clean and efficient. As you know, I always like to buy the best machinery that I can afford, however, I know full well that we all have budgets. The Racing 62PR Ride-On Mower is a budget machine, which offers value for money. The great thing is that the customer reviews average 4.4/5 which is very good indeed.

So let’s take a look at the Racing 62PR Ride-On Mower. This is a very compact machine that has a 61 cm (approximately 25 inch) width cut, which makes it a highly compact machine in a smaller garden. Often with ride-on mowers, gateways and pathways can cause access problems, however, the Racing mower should be capable of going into most places.

Engine

A 196 cc 6.5 hp four stroke overhead valve engine powers the Racing 62PR Ride-On Mower. The electric start helps to make life easy and the fuel-efficient engine keeps fuel costs to a minimum. As with all engines make sure and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, keep the oil clean and change at the period stated in the manual. It’s far better to keep the oil clean and to wear an engine out.

Variable Cutting Height

The Racing mower has a five-step height adjustment, the heights range from 30 – 70 mm, with this height range you have a cutting height for all seasons. One thing that I would recommend is to cut your lawn regularly. I see far too many people leaving the grass to grow far too long and then cutting the lawn too short.

In an ideal world, you only want to take a maximum of one-third of your grass at one time. So in other words, take no more than 33% of grass height of your lawn. This helps to keep your lawn looking healthy and helps keep your lawn looking good all year round. Within reason, the more regularly you can cut your lawn, the better.

Generous Grass Collector

Something that’s always an important factor is that the Racing 62PR Ride-On Mower has a generous 150 L collection bag. This is always an important feature on any mower, the larger the bag, the less time we lose when emptying the bag. Emptying the bag can be carried out from the operator’s seat.

Steel Deck

The 61 cm cutting deck is made from durable steel that should give long life. It’s always good to keep your deck clean for optimum cutting and collection efficiency. At the end of the season, it is not a bad practice to paint or spray your cutting deck with oil to preserve it.

Transmission

The majority of ride-on mowers today come with hydrostatic transmission, this type of transmission gives instant forward and reverse speeds. The hydrostatic transmission also gives you variable speeds, there is no need for a clutch. Normally you just have one lever for forward or reverse, or 2-foot pedals that offer forward and reverse. It really is the most efficient way to power a ride-on lawnmower. The great thing is if you come to a thick patch of grass you can quickly slow the machine down, no gear changing or patchwork, just instant forward and reverse!

Once again, we have two remember that this is a budget lawnmower, so we can’t have every single feature. However, the reviews really are excellent for a machine that costs under £1000!

This Ride On Mower Comes With A Two-Year Warranty

For me, the biggest downside is the fact that the machine does not have hydrostatic transmission. It would be good if Racing made a hydrostatic version, maybe this will happen in the future.

I’ve Used It!

I have to say the majority of garden equipment that I have used has been commercial and professional equipment. Although having said this I have used a lot of domestic equipment over the years. I recently used the Mountfield HP414 Push Petrol 4 Wheel Lawnmower I have to say that I was really pleasantly surprised!

For a start, for a £149 lawnmower. I really didn’t expect much at all, but for the money, I was really impressed. Personally, I would much prefer to have a small petrol lawnmower. Rather than an electric mower where you have that cable trailing behind you all the time and generally getting in the way. To me, this little petrol lawnmower is a great option.

Obviously, this machine is not like using something like a Honda, Hayter or Weibang. However, we have to remember that this machine is a budget lawnmower and it really does do what it says on the box!

Features

The Mountfield HP414 Push Petrol 4 Wheel Lawnmower comes with a 100 cc petrol engine with recoil start. The cutting width is 15 inches (39 cm) which although this is not a massive cut it’s surprising and you can cover the ground. It’s also good for doing those small fiddly areas in your garden. This particular machine is a push model, there are similar machines that drive, like the Mountfield SP414 Self Propelled Petrol 4 Wheel Lawnmower, however, the push model offers simplicity and very little to go wrong.

Believe it or not, this machine has a height adjuster on each wheel which in some ways to me is unnecessary. However, if your grass is slightly longer it is useful to be able to lift the back wheels up slightly as this makes for more efficient collecting. The height adjusters offer five different heights from 25 to 70 mm.

The grass box capacity is a generous 40 L which is quite good for a mower of this size. The handles fold down for storage which is extremely useful or if you happen to be transporting your lawnmower in the back of the car, a very useful feature.

The weight of the machine is 19.5 kg and the deck is constructed of polypropylene. The recommended maximum cutting area for a machine the size is 250 m² or more if you’re feeling particularly energetic!

Two-year warranty

I am very surprised that the Mountfield HP414 Push Petrol 4 Wheel Lawnmower has a two-year warranty. I wouldn’t normally expect this on a budget machine. However, it does suggest that Mountfield have faith in this particular product. From my experience, this machine is very basic but at the same time very functional.

How Did It Perform? 

I have to say that I really was impressed with this lawnmower. I really didn’t expect very much for £149, but it achieved everything that I wanted.

On one particular area, the grass was quite long and thick and although I had to empty the grass box very frequently. I didn’t manage to clog the grass chute up which can potentially easily happen! The good thing is with four-wheel rotary mowers is that the grass is directed straight into the box. Whereas with a roller rotary the grass has to be pushed over the roller which makes roller mowers slightly easier to clog the grass chute.

The finish that this lawnmower left was also pretty good, although it doesn’t actually have a roller. I was almost getting a slightly striped finish just due to me going up and down. I guess the deck was just pushing the grass over slightly which help to make a striped finish. However, if you really want to striped finish you need to buy a roller rotary mower.

So would I buy this machine? 

In one simple answer, I definitely would! If I had a small garden I would much prefer to have a small petrol mower rather than a hand mower or electric mower. To be fair with a two-year warranty you can’t go far wrong. Even if the machine only lasted two years and it will last longer if you look after your lawnmower. It would only cost £75 a year!

Obviously, this machine is not the Rolls-Royce of lawnmowers. However, if you want a budget petrol mower that cuts your grass this machine is definitely worth looking at. I always say buy the best machine that you can afford, it pays off in the long run.
